Bio

The C4 Influenz is a Live relationship of Soul, Funk, Jazz & HipHop. The commitment of “C4”, GOD, FAMILY, LOVE equals LIFE, is a key essential to their Music; “Influenz” is the many artists/musicians heard, studied, performed that crafts the sound. Formed in 2008 by drummer, Rod Nightingale, The C4 Influenz was featured in DRUM! Magazine’s June ’08 issue, “Sound of the funky drummer in Portland, OR???” reviews the song, “Northwest Spirit”, from their album Live from The Stump. The article describes Nightingale on everything from creating 6/8 ghost-note jazz patterns to dropping crazy, greasy hip-hop grooves.

Recently relocating to Houston, TX, The C4 Influenz continues to give audiences a passionate, committed, grooving experience. So, get out and take a listen at a stage near YOU!

  • Artist image (preferably one that includes their DHP drums).
  • For the submission of artist links or URLs. Please supply the full URLs (with the http:// prefix).
  • If there is an inaccurate artist URL. Please indicate which URL (or website) that is incorrect and supply the correct URL using the format mentioned above (if applicable).

Forbidden content for an Artist profile
  • Profiles written in the first or second person.
  • Content that may be considered derogatory, libelous, defamatory or invasive.
  • Images that contain nudity or may be considered derogatory, libelous, defamatory or invasive.
  • Images that are copyrighted and consent for use has not been obtained.
  • Images of artist that include logos of another drum company.
  • Images that are not in the following file formats: jpeg, gif, png, tiff.
  • Links that point towards external web sites that can be considered obscene, indecent, harassing, objectionable, or contain viruses or other hostile code.
