Andy Parr

Bio

Rosy Likes Red is an alternative rock band formed in Baltimore, Maryland during the summer of 2008. The band adopted their name from a short story by Connor Kaos (RLR’s lead singer and founder). With emotional lyrics, memorable melodies and a new wave/progressive sound, the band quickly developed a following while performing at venues in Baltimore, Washington D.C, and Virginia like the 9:30 Club, The Recher Theatre, Sonar, The Ottobar, U Street Music Hall, Jaxx Nightclub and Jammin’ Java. After the release of their demo in the spring of 2009 featuring the single, Girl, You Take My Breath Away, the band earned a spot at the 2009 Van’s Warped Tour, DC KIA/Kevin Says Stage, and began touring the East Coast. That December, the band hit the studio to lay down tracks for their debut EP, Things Left Unsaid, released the summer of 2010. With unparalleled drive and desire, The Band also recently earned a spot at the 2010 Vans Warped Tour, DC Ernie Ball Stage via the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands. With soon to be two warped tour performances under their belt and opening for bands like The Dangerous Summer and We Are The In Crowd, the future never looked, or sounded more promising.
