"Well, we think that most people would agree that when your looking to find out something about a band even before it's music tells you, the name might throw you in some kind of a direction. For instance, your not going to expect love ballads from Slayer. You get the point. So Ever Defiant means not necessarily never listening to authority, but instead having your own informed opinion on any given subject. Not letting someone else just decide for you. With our songs we pour a ton of emotion out and we feel that while normal everyday opinions are usually just formed with rationale, you must use your heart as well as your head to let you know what to do. Sometimes being defiant is conforming, if only to defy the odds against your sucess. We think that's what it means to be EverDefiant. Sometimes you may have to conform to defy the odds that are innately stacked against you. Whatever curve-balls life may through at you, keep your eye on the ball and knock it out of the park, and as you watch the ball sail over the fence and your life's theme song is playing as loud as your ears can stand...let them know that you...are Ever Defiant." -- Ever Defiant

Artists/Public cannot add or edit profiles on their own, all updates must be submitted to Dark Horse Percussion for review. All submissions are verified and, if approved, the Artist Profile will be updated accordingly.
Information that can be submitted
  • The name of the Artist and Band for which they perform in (if applicable).
  • A neutral biography of the artist that is NOT written in the first or second person.
  • Styles the artist is known for.
  • Artist/Band hometown (city and state).
  • Band members names and instrument (if applicable).
  • Any other historical information regarding the artist.
  • Artist image (preferably one that includes their DHP drums).
  • For the submission of artist links or URLs. Please supply the full URLs (with the http:// prefix).
  • If there is an inaccurate artist URL. Please indicate which URL (or website) that is incorrect and supply the correct URL using the format mentioned above (if applicable).

Forbidden content for an Artist profile
  • Profiles written in the first or second person.
  • Content that may be considered derogatory, libelous, defamatory or invasive.
  • Images that contain nudity or may be considered derogatory, libelous, defamatory or invasive.
  • Images that are copyrighted and consent for use has not been obtained.
  • Images of artist that include logos of another drum company.
  • Images that are not in the following file formats: jpeg, gif, png, tiff.
  • Links that point towards external web sites that can be considered obscene, indecent, harassing, objectionable, or contain viruses or other hostile code.
