Band Confirms Appearance on Late Night with David Letterman

Steel Train has confirmed that they will be returning to New York on Monday, July 12th for a special television appearance on Late Night with David Letterman in support of their new self-titled album. The show will air at 11:35pm/10:35pm (CST) on your local CBS affiliate.
Unfortunately, the appearance has affected some of the band's scheduled tour dates. The band states on their web site "...this appearance has forced us to change our touring plans. We had to cancel the scheduled concert at the Social in Orlando on July 12th but we will find a way to make it up to all of you in Orlando in the coming months. We are grateful to each of you for your continued support and look forward to showing you our gratitude down the road."
The new self-titled record, produced by Steven McDonald (Be Your Own Pet, Imperial Teen) was release on June 29
th in conjunction with
Terrible Thrills Volume 1 (available only via the band's website), a companion piece that features each of the record's songs reinterpreted by famous female musicians (including Tegan & Sara, Nellie McKay, Amanda Palmer and Scarlett Johansson). Get your copy
